시간/전자사전

Time. Unfortunately I had to quit Skype classes because I don’t have much time! Been really busy these days that I can’t focus on Korean studies! I think I’ll just have to continue self-studying with the resources I have like books, articles and such. I’m really quite lucky that I have a lot of Korean friends in real life and online that are willing to help me with my studies. Well actually some of them are willing to do my homework XD but then again I won’t learn if I let them. I was actually half done with the essay and the translation. T^T I can’t manage time much and it’s making me really deprived huhu.

Happy side. It’s been 6 months since my iRiver D5 broke. So sad that it can’t be fixed huhu. It was more painful than breaking up with your boyfriend XD. After months of D5-deprivation I finally purchased a new one! So happy!

I got iRiver D7! Well I could’ve gotten  a newer model but I’m just totally in love with pocket sized dictionaries! Oh well I think it’s because I was so used with my D5 haha. I bought this in 용산 where most electronic devices can be found. I was seriously drooling over the cameras and Ipad I saw. The plan was that I won’t buy one yet, that I’ll just look around and canvas. I asked for the price it was 280,000won. O.o I thought it was cheaper than that since I checked the price on auction and gmarket. The guy asked me if I was a foreigner and I said yes. LOL he thought I was Chinese/Japanese! Used my pursuing power to the last bits and yay the 아저씨 gave it to me for 215,000won! I’ve put a lot of pdf files in it so whenever I’m in the 지하철 I can read some lessons and novels.

I don’t think if I’ll be able to update because of my schedule but I’ll try to manage if I can.

  1. OMG I am drooling over your iRiver. They are hard to find in the U.S. but I think it’s possible to buy them through 3rd party sellers on Amazon… still, they are SO EXPENSIVE and I heard that all the instructions are in Korean so I’m a bit nervous about that. Language-learning is such an expensive hobby. *sigh*

    • But isn’t amazon scary? I mean they are only quite a few ones that are really reliable. How much is it then? Yeah it’s in Korean and you can change it to Japanese and Chinese. You’ll actually learn how to use it since it’s a dictionary ㅋㅋㅋ Yeah, expensive hobby!

      • I saw a couple different models and they’re all like $200-$400. Yeah, it can be risky buying off Amazon. I found this other site that sells the D25 for $375. Too much! ㅠㅠ

    • Ohh same price here then. D2000 is their new model and it’s around $400 and it has wifi and everything. Atree is the best electronic dictionary according to the 아저씨. Multi purpose dictionaries are worth it so I guess iRiver is one.
