I thought I should plan something out for my Korean studies for this year. I just wasted the first 3 months of the year! Woot great! *slaps self* Well I just wanted to have time for Korean even though I’m busy so I should set some goals, sched and such.
Since I only have time during the evening and weekends I’ll study by then. I think the problem I have with textbooks is that they bore me so fast that I drop it after a few chapters and go read or buy another one. It’s not that the books are boring it’s just me that lose interest in them. I think I should finish SNU 한국어 4 and Yonsei 한국어 4 and use them along with good references like Using Korean: A Guide to Contemporary Usage and Korean Grammar for International Learners. I plan on finishing the books on May so I can use Yonsei 한국어 5 already. ㅋㅋㅋ excited much.
쓰기. As usual I use Twitter quite often and yesterday I was conversing with Zara in Korean! Well we always do that but I don’t usually reply in full Korean. She told me that she was quite surprised that I was replying in full long sentences in Korean and that I improved a lot! Wee~ Happy! I also do that when I’m talking to CoreanBigSis. CoreanBigSis helps a lot! I love her<3 I plan on writing here in Korean as often as I can. I always have problem with what to write so I think I should just get topics from my textbooks and write the essays here.
말하기. Since I’m in Korea I should use Korean of course! It’s a must since not all Korean can speak English. My friend told me that I improved my speaking skills compared to the last time I was here. Again I’m happy! Whenever I speak I try to relax myself so I won’t get tongue-tied or try not to think a lot since it confuses me on what to say. I still make mistakes so I try not to get frustrated and my friends corrects me so they’re a big help^^ I plan on uploading audios of me talking in Korean and again I’ll just get topics from my book or just talk freely? Hmm not confident about talking freely but then again I should try~
